📖 Glossary

Managed Appliance

A pre-configured, self-contained technology deployment that includes all necessary software, settings, and services in a single managed package. In DiligenceWorks' context, a managed appliance (referred to as a 'box') is a complete operational technology stack deployed onto dedicated infrastructure, managed by DiligenceWorks but controlled by the client.

Context

DiligenceWorks offers three managed appliance tiers: biz.box (for emerging managers), a mid-tier (for established firms), and enterprise.box (for institutional operations). Each is a complete, self-contained deployment.
